HANGRY

Hungry+Angry. A good word, one that is used a lot.

I'm not at Hangry status...but i'm really hungry.

I'm not suprised. Dave packed my lunch (leftover fajitas with red beans and rice mixed in). It weighed a TON. And looking at it, it was too much for one lunch (wrapped in a ww wrap). So i split it for tomorrow.

Which is great. But i'm hungry

Food today:

Blueberries, skim and puffins, coffee
NO SNACK
1/2 fajita leftovers
Banna with 1tsp natural PB

Ok. I see why i am hungry!

Down 4 LBS!

I lost 4 lbs this week. Four freaking lbs. And it was DH's bday on Friday and it was the only night I really treated myself.

The others I ate healthily and in control (but still went to my dairy stand a few times for ice cream! It's 95% ff garelick farms soft serve)

I got in a bunch of exercise. Challenged myself to do SOMETHING every day...even if it was a 20 min walk at lunch...but I also did zumba, rode bikes, golfed.

I totally focused on F/V as snacks...I barely deviated from this except for a smoothie one day and some days I didn't even snack (!)

I was SO bummed out as when I bought my new scale last monday...I got on it and it had me at 169. My other old scale that I had to get on and off 7 times to get the same reading had me at 165. So I was LIVID to see 169 on the new one. So I just told myself to DO IT.

So I did. Now to KEEP IT UP.

Onto ZUMBAAAAAAAAAAAA tonight!

Weekend round up

It was Dave's bday on Friday night so we had drinks at a collegues roof deck (it was SWEET) and then went out to chinese. We had twin lobsters stirfried in garlic and onion and HOLY SALTINESS!!!! the next morning we both woke up feeling TERRIBLE. A total MSG over load. We could barely get out of bed!

We then had ww bagels and coffee and did errands. Went to the farmers market where I spent more on a print than on food. Whoops. That's ok though as the print was 85.00....that's a lot of veggies.

We parked at a friend's house and rode our bikes down to the beach a few miles. Sat there in the sun for a while and relaxed. Went home and over to another house for cuban food. Cuban sandwiches with black beans. She makes the BEST BLACK BEANS. I"m going to bother her for exact measurements as they are SO sweet. Like the lentil tacos I have on here. We then went for ice cream and walked Nantasket Beach for an hour. It was a beautiful night

Sunday brought me on the golf course, burning calories and then drinking 3 beers :P I did only have one hot dog and a peach on the golf course and a few cheese and crackers.

Dinner was salmon, israeli cous cous and green beans from the farmers market. I have leftovers today.

I'm out helping a friend tonight, so I will probabally take a 30 min walk at lunch time to get out there and get moving. I'm not sure what she's cooking tonight, but i'll take it easy as WI is tomorrow. I will have a SMALL glass of wine and water.

I'm thinking zumba tomorrow? We'll see!
